DISCOVERY OF NEW MUSHROOM SPECIES

In addition to my work on ectomycorrhizal ecology, I have been collecting herbarium specimens of ectomycorrhizal fungi since 2011, deposited at University of Arizona Robert L. Gilbertson Mycological Herbarium (MYCO-ARIZ), the UCS herbarium at University of Central Oklahoma and the FLAS herbarium at University of Florida. Since 2014 I have collected more than 600 specimens from tropical montane forest Panama and Mexico and I’m currently involved in collaborations with several specialists to describe several new species.
